Do you offer trade pricing?
Yes, Schwung primarily operates on a B2B model with designers, architects and resellers. Please contact us to learn the details.
Do you accept returns?
Please be advised all our products are made to order and returns are not accepted. The only exceptions could be for manufacturing defects. For such returns to be accepted, they must be reported within 72 hours of receiving the products, and returned to us within 14 days. Please make sure you examine your order carefully immediately after delivery.
Where are Schwung pieces made?
All Schwung lights are handcrafted at our new facility in Poland – designed, engineered and produced all under one roof. With carefully selected local suppliers and artisans, we can guarantee the unique nature and superb quality of every piece.
Schwung takes pride in care and responsibility. From our materials to designs we consider sustainability and durability at every opportunity. We strive to create heirlooms of the future.
Can Schwung pieces be customized?
We love to collaborate. From basic finish or size adjustments, we also help our clients achieve spectacular results with custom-made orders. Each customized project, large or small, will be advised by our engineering team with drawings, and support– each case priced individually.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We only accept bank and wire transfers with corresponding proforma invoices.
What is the lead time?
Our production lead time is from four to six weeks. Pieces are made to order, crafted, developed and assembled with care in Europe.
Does Schwung offer any ready-to-ship items?
All Schwung lights are made to order and we do not keep stock of ready-to-ship items. Occasionally we organize a seasonal clearance for trade show or display pieces. Please join our mailing list to find out more.
What are your shipping conditions?
We offer complimentary shipping within the EU, at a cost of less than 500 €. All shipments beyond the EU are quoted individually before the order is placed. ‘Ex Works’ shipping is also available.
Do you ship internationally?
Schwung lights have no borders and shine in the most remote parts of the globe. All our pieces can be wired to 110/220V standard depending on desired destination and corresponding bulbs are included.
How do I clean and care for my Schwung pieces?
All brass elements are lacquered for protection. Regardless, brass may tarnish slightly over time. This is a natural process. Make sure you follow our product care recommendations to preserve the great look of Schwung lighting for the years to come.
Brass frame - Clean regularly using a soft cloth or duster. A damp cloth may also be used. Make sure the frame is dry before switching it back on. DO NOT use any cleaning agents for brass parts.
Glass globes - Clean regularly with a soft dry cloth. Clean only the outside of the globe. For dirtier glass, use a wet cloth first. Grease can be cleaned with a gentle glass cleaner.
